Yesterday I was driving to town with Taze and Tesi. This is always one of my favorite times with my kids. They actually hold still enough to talk. Taze was telling me how when he grows up he wants to be a person who digs up dinosaur fossils, or maybe one that puts them together, or maybe he will just have one for his own. So then he was asking me when dinosaurs existed and if they lived when Adam and Eve were alive. I told him I didn't think so and he continued asking about Adam and Eve. Meanwhile, Tesi is sitting over there quiet as can be until . . . . . . she pipes up and says: Well you know what?
Me: What?
Tesi: I was there when Jesus sent Adam and Eve to earth.
Me: Oh ya! (Very shocked and wondering where she came up with that.)
Taze: You weren't either.
Tesi: Yes I was. I was there when Jesus sent Adam and Eve to earth.
Taze: Mom is that true?
Me: Still puzzled by the statement. "Yes, I guess so."
You got to love the innocence of children. This is one I have to remember. I am always amazed at what they are thinking about and how they interpret things. Such precious moments!
